I'd rather catch a real moment than arrange a perfect one. Most of what I love in a photograph happens in the in-between — a half-smile, a turn of the head, the second before someone remembers they're being photographed.
I'm Maria — a photographer based in the Lower Mainland. I work quietly and without much fuss: people are most themselves in the small, unguarded moments, and those are the ones I want to hold on to.
My work is unforced — natural light, real settings, and a session with room to breathe. If that sounds like you, I'd love to hear what you're planning.
